The original version of "Ta Ra Rum Pum" can be viewed below, but the full movie was not released in HD. A king of Tiger Kingdom has selected Lord Rama to lead his army of monkeys against the demon king Ravana. They need all of their strength for this great journey. But Lord Rama gets stuck on an island called Mandhata with none but his loyal monkey servant Hanuman and is unable to proceed on with the war on Ravana's behalf! Still, Hanuman is determined that they will win this great battle. But with the help from a little dance and a few dance moves, Lord Rama, Hanuman and the monkeys will become victorious!Rama is a young man who was cut off from his mother's womb, at birth. He grows up in a forest as he is being raised by the nymphs. When he was older, his father Arundhathi raised him as his own son. One day, Rama meets Sita and falls in love with her. His family ask him to marry her as she is worth more than 10 crores of gold to them. But Rama refuses to marry Sita as he loves another girl, Tara (a "varna kanya"). Sita tells Rama that she will leave with him if he marries her. Sita's father becomes furious with her decision and he commands the nymphs to bring Rama back by force. The nymphs are unable to capture Rama without Sita noticing so they infuse her with poison. While she is being carried off by the nymphs, Tara's father hears of this and arrives at their campsite before they can take off so he takes Tara away. Rama leaves the forest in search for Tara and Sita and encounters a demon named Hanuman who takes him to his mother. Rama and Tara (who is still poisoned) inject the antidote into Sita and she is cured. They live happily ever after.Due to the film's success in Malaysia, MediaCorp bought the rights for Singapore. However, the film was only screened at 4 cinemas and later pulled out due to poor ticket sales (2 weeks after its release). "Ta Ra Rum Pum" received negative reception from "The Star". Johan Ishak noted that "It's a silly story for this kind of movie". He also criticised the performances of Cyrus Sahari, Zukhruf Sidek and Romi Abdullah. "Ta Ra Rum Pum" was not screened in Thailand; it is unknown whether the film obtained a release there. The film's soundtrack is composed by Sham.
